These gods can bless the pregnant women because the souls of fetuses are regard as plants in the Spirits Garden.


 

b.Birth Allowance in Taipei City

For promoting the birth rate, every newborn baby can get NT$20,000 as an allowance since 2011. Furthermore, every child below 5 years old also can get NT$2,500 every month as an allowance and many welfare aids.

a.Three Days after Giving Birth to a Baby

Formally begin to bath for the baby and use the clear water. Besides, put the osmanthuses, orange or longan leaves, stones and coins in the bathtub.


 

b.One-Month-Old Day

In this day, parents will cut hair for the baby and put 3 stones, 12 coins, 12 red eggs and green onions on the baby's head separately.



 

c.Gifts from Mother's Families

Many one-month-old gifts (hat, bib and shoes) are given from mother's families.



 

d.Four-Months-Old Day

The parents hang 12 cookies on the baby's neck with a red thread, moreover, relatives and friends will use a cookie to touch the baby's saliva and then eat it to bless the baby can stop slobbering.

Some offerings for the one-year-old rite
Usually use the glutinous oil rice, stewed chicken with sesame oil and turtleback pattern cake to worship the Bed Deity and Seventh Mother.

The baby stands on the turtle bread to mean that the longevity and wealthy will become true.

A paper made stand for enshrining and worshiping the Lord of Heaven



 

b.Tiger General

He is apotheosized as the tutelary god because his special and brave appearance. Especially; the tiger general in Xingang Fengtian Temple is very famous because the golden flower in his head and is enshrined on the altar.
